Bicycle parking, showers and lockers on campus

If you’re cycling to AUT, you can find bicycle parking and showers on each AUT campus. Lockers may also be available.

Remember that you can’t store your bike inside AUT buildings as bikes can damage walls and interiors and can be a hazard. Use the bike racks provided on each campus.

City Campus bike facilities

Bike racks, cages and Locky Docks

• WA/WE buildings (behind): by the raised lawn area
• WF building: in Governor Fitzroy Plaza
• WH building (front): enter via Gate 3 on Wellesley Street East
• WO building (level 4): secure bike cage on Wakefield Street
• WM building: Locky Dock and rental bike parking on St Paul Street
• Outside AUT library: Locky Dock via Hikuwai Plaza entrance

Showers and lockers

• WC building: showers at the City Campus gym. Lockers available for hire by gym members
• WG building: lockers with device charging outlets available on level 1
• WQ building: showers (level 3) and lockers (levels 1 and 3). Free to use for all AUT students

North Campus bike facilities

Bike racks

• AA building: via the lecture theatre entrance
• AB building (outside): opposite AL building
• AH building: at the gym entrance by the Golf Swing Clinic

Showers and lockers

• AH building: showers are in the gym changing rooms and are available for all staff and students (you don’t have to be a gym member). Talk to the gym reception staff to set up a free shower membership
• AH building: lockers are also available for hire. Talk to the gym reception staff to arrange this

South Campus bike facilities

• MC and MH buildings: outside entrances between these two buildings
• ME building (front): in carpark 2
• ME building: outside AUTSA office (ME109)

Showers and lockers

• MD building: showers are available in MD105 (male changing room), MD106 (female changing room), MD113 (all gender bathroom), MD114 (male bathroom)
• There are no lockers available for use at South Campus
