Our health coaches are here to support AUT students to reach your health and life goals. We take a holistic approach to understand your energy levels, nourishment, movement, mood, resilience, and connectedness to guide you to create habits that will set you up for a purposeful, healthy life.

Whether you’re feeling stuck and need direction, suffering anxiety or stress, or want to better look after your physical and emotional health – we can help.

Dr Dana Toogood

Dr Dana Toogood is a chiropractor from the New Zealand College of Chiropractic and a Neuro Emotional Technique Practitioner. For ten years, Dana ran a holistic chiropractic practice in Melbourne with a focus on somatic trauma healing, mind-body healing, emotional and spiritual wellbeing, and nervous system regulation. Her experience and dedication extend to group settings, having conducted wellness workshops for Muslim women and other groups in both Melbourne and Sudan.

Dana is passionate about helping people to find connection, purpose and meaning so that they can begin to lead a well and balanced life. Grounded in her East African roots Dana merges a spiritual element to her body-based healing practice that helps others to connect with their body in a way that will support their healing.

Lama Saga

Lama Saga is of Samoan decent and has lived much of his life in South Auckland. He has a BA in Sports with a major in Physical Education and has 15 years of experience in the public health sector.

Lama recently worked with Otara Health Charitable Trust helping families navigate their way to a healthy lifestyle. He is entrepreneurial, owning Alexander café and Empire Training Box in Otara. In 2022, his gym was crowned ‘Second Fittest Gym’ in New Zealand.

Lama is passionate about Pasifika peoples, their wellbeing and helping them reach their full potential. He takes a holistic, culturally appropriate, and supportive approach to health goals.
