Once you have accepted your offer of place at AUT, you are ‘admitted’ into your chosen qualification at AUT. In many bachelor’s degrees, first-year students are directly enrolled into their courses by their faculty. In some programmes, first-year students can enrol themselves online. Most returning students are also encouraged to self-enrol.

If you’re studying any other AUT programme, review the programme enrolment information from your faculty first so that you understand what courses are required to complete your qualification.
Once you have logged into Arion web, you may be able to choose a preferred course from a list of options.
Your programme may include the option to include elective courses - courses of your choice you take simply for interest. An elective can be taken from almost any subject area. Elective courses count towards your qualification but not towards your major, minor or specialisation.
