Learn how to log into the AUT network, Canvas, My AUT, student email, library and the internet.
If you’re logging in for the first time, your password will be the two-digit day of your birthday followed by the first three letters of your birth month. Eg: if you were born on the first of January, then your password will be 01jan (all lower-case).
You must register your AUT IT account after your first login.
To log into the AUT network, Canvas, My AUT, student email, library and the internet, current AUT students will have to use their network login and password. If you're a current student, you can find your network login on the bottom-right corner of your AUT student ID card. It's three letters followed by four digits, for example abc1234.
If you've forgotten your password or it has expired, you can reset your password whether you're on or off campus.
