What do I do if I can't sit a test or an exam?
At some point in your study, for reasons out of your control, you may not be able to sit a scheduled exam. If this happens, it is important that you contact your lecturer, programme leader or programme administrator, and let them know as soon as possible, or at least within 14 days of the exam date. They will advise you about what to do in this situation.
If you don't have a valid reason for missing the exam, or haven't notified the teaching department within the required time, you'll receive a failing grade for your examination.
