AUT offers free counselling services and mental health support to all students based in New Zealand. Sessions are confidential and delivered by professional counsellors and mental health advisors. You can make an appointment with an AUT counsellor or a mental health advisor to talk about your support needs.
You can also call or text 1737 for free any time of the day or night, to speak to a trained counsellor.
An alternative to face-to-face counselling, this external service offers private and confidential counselling sessions by phone.
Download the app and join a global peer support network available 24/7. TalkCampus is a safe space where you can connect with students all over the world, in over 26 different languages, for mental health support and connection.
HELP Auckland is an independent specialist organisation for sexual abuse survivors that can provide advocacy and support.
A HELP Auckland counsellor is at the City Campus (WB235) every Thursday between 10am and 1pm. All conversations are confidential.
