Counselling and mental health support

AUT offers free counselling services and mental health support to all students. Sessions are confidential and delivered by professional counsellors. You can make an appointment with an AUT counsellor to talk about your support needs.

You can also call or text 1737 for free any time of the day or night, to speak to a trained counsellor.

Puāwaitanga: phone counselling

An alternative to face-to-face counselling, this external service offers private and confidential counselling sessions by phone.
