You can enrol at the Student Medical Centre at any time; you don't need to wait until you're sick. Simply scroll down to the Practice Enrolment Form link at the bottom of this page to begin the process. You can also find our price list for an overview of doctor and nurse appointment costs.
You must pay for your consultation on the day. You can pay by cash, Eftpos, MasterCard or Visa.
If you enrol with us as your healthcare provider, routine consultations are free (costs may apply for vaccinations, and some procedures and treatments – ask us for details). Unfortunately we're unable to offer medical centre services to distance students in New Zealand.
If you have AUT Studentsafe university insurance or Unicare insurance and your medical condition is covered by your policy, we will bill your insurer directly for your consultation.
When you're enrolled with the Student Medical Centre, most consultations are free and your medical notes are transferred to us electronically. You can enrol any time before making your first appointment with us – don't wait until you are sick and need an appointment.
To enrol with us you need to complete the following online form:
Once you have registered with us, a medical history form will be emailed to you. You can also complete this form in person at the Student Medical Centre.
Once you're enrolled, you can use ConnectMed to book appointments online. Check our appointment page to find out how to use ConnectMed.
